A home based business opportunity is a way to earn an income
without the need to actually report to a workplace everyday.
There are several requirements that one must possess in order to
be successful in the work at home workforce. The requirements
need to be strongly considered before you quit you full time job
for this type of venture.
First, if you are going to start a home-based business, you must
have either a product or service that will sell to the consumer.

in order to offer a product that is in demand. Services offered

product or service you provide, there are several pieces of
equipment that one could not do business without. A computer
with internet access, a printer, a phone and possibly a fax line
are needed as well.

There are thousands of individual firms, shopping malls, stores,
restaurants, movie theaters, hotels, and other sales and
customer oriented outfit out there. All of them competing for
customer’s attention and patronage. All vying for top of mind
recall in becoming the shoppers’ choice.
One of the strategies that became possible in order for these
companies to stay in competition shape is to find out what is
happening inside their establishments from a customer’s point of
view.
This gave birth to the mystery shopper.
Mystery shoppers, sometimes referred to as a secret shopper or a
spotter are people hired by companies to shop in their stores.
After undergoing trainings that will focus mainly on things that
are to be observed, mystery shoppers are assigned to serve three
main purposes.
1.To evaluate and observe how the staff assigned in shops carry
out assigned functions.
At the start of assignments, secret shoppers are briefed on
matters that they are expected to “spot”. Mainly, the issues are
derived from the concerns of the business owners that want to:
- Improve customer relationship. - Improve servicing. - Update
owners and managers on the manner that functions and tasks are
carried out according to plans. - Courtesy and discipline of
employees. - Honesty and integrity. - Observance to other issues
of concern.
2.And to evaluate and observe the store’s operation.
Another task of the mystery shopper is to observe and evaluate
the operation of the store that includes: The cleanliness and
orderliness of the account. Ease of shopping and traffic
management. Visibility, availability and pricing issues.
Merchandising updates. Mainly however, secret shoppers give this
observation from a shopper’s vantage point.
3.Filing of reports.
Reports to be filed are often in the form of checklists that the
secret shopper fills out.
The mystery shopper does all of these without inviting
recognition. In fact, secret shoppers, before given assignments
signs agreements where reports and everything written on it are
not to be disclosed. To become a mystery shopper, one need to
apply and register with a mystery shopper company, which are
commonly available online. Registration is free which comes with
manuals and training needed.
Earning is also good for mystery shoppers.
Since different companies require different level of service,
the companies pay different rates. For example, a simple
assignment on a salon that would take a couple of hours (even
minutes) could pay more or less $10 while a more complicated job
like shopping would rate $25. For starters, some companies offer
$5 per work but will increase, as the mystery shopper gets
better at the work. For more the more experienced, a day of
shopping would fetch about $100.
Conditions and requirements are also easy. But because reports
are the main turf of mystery shoppers, the main issues for a
mystery shopper not to make the grade is when reports are not
submitted on time or are incomplete
Mystery shoppers, also enjoys perks that are usually not
available to regular employees. Mystery shoppers are reimbursed
on items that were shopped (usually upon presentation together
with the reports), they dine, watch the latest movie, fix their
cars, and have their hair done. All for free. Mystery shopping
services also covers cruise liners, department store, fitness
centers or health clubs, casino, service centers, salons, banks,
homebuilders, amusement centers and parks, and more. The mystery
shopper enjoys them all while getting paid.

Recently, a woman was telling me about how she used an
ad in her “swipe file” to create a promotion, and it completely
crashed and burned. Not one single sale.
Turns out she simply substituted all the details of the
original ad she was “swiping” with the details of her product.
Look, you might be able to get away with the old “word
substitute” routine every now and then. And you might even
make some good money doing it. But that sort of thing
usually doesn’t work. At least not from what I’ve seen.
Why? Because swipe files are basically only good for “how”
you say something…and not necessarily for “what” you’re
saying.
For example, I once wrote an ad to property investors in the
United Kingdom with a headline I “swiped” from an old ad
(from the 1950’s) selling a television repair course.
The headline was: “Why Haven’t TV Owners Been Told
These Facts?”
I thought, “That’s a great headline! Lemme ’swipe’ that
bad-boy!” And my headline said:
“Why Haven’t UK Property Investors Been Told About
This?”
The result?
Well, the ad didn’t exactly “bomb” (there was a nice curiosity
element to it, after all). But it didn’t do nearly as well as we
wanted.
Reason why is because I didn’t consider that the original ad
I “swiped” was playing on a suspicion people had
about TV’s back in the day. TV sets were acting up a lot and
people were really getting ticked off. And so the headline
was structured to play on that aura of “foul play”.
But the UK property investor market is not in this state of
mind. And so I took a hard look at the market, and their state
of mind as it is (not how I imagined it, but how it is) and
came up with a different headline that gave us a better
response.
Now, please, don’t get me wrong here. Swipe files are
extremely useful for wording specific phrases, closes and
even entire paragraphs (I mostly use my swipe file for
different “structures” — to lay out the sequence of information
in my ads for maximum effect).
But it’s dangerous to play “Betty Crocker” with your sales
pitch — simply pouring all the details of your product into
another ad, just like you’d pour cake mix into a mold —
without making sure the different elements of that ad jives
with the market first.

Why People say - There is no money in Internet Marketing.

Just finished check my email. Nothing new, three payment
notification emails from PayPal, two new ClickBank sales, one
new prospect in membership site I’m promoting and one mail from
a frustrated marketer “I’ve been doing Internet marketing for
last 3 years, I’ve joined so many programs. I max out my credit
card but haven’t made a dime yet.”
I receive this type of mails daily and always wonder why people
don’t earn money through Internet. In fact it’s the easiest way
to make money. I think there may be two reasons behind it.
1. People are not willing to learn.
People don’t want to learn. A research shows that 97% people
think that they are smarter than others and they need not to
learn new things. I’m not saying that they are wrong. Off course
they are expert in their field but when it comes to other field
or say Internet marketing they are zero. They don’t know
anything about it so they should learn first.
You may ask what about the rest 3%. Well these 3% people don’t
think they are smarter (they are actually smartest) and they try
to learn from everyone. That’s why these 3% people are having
97% wealth of the world.
2. Internet is filled with hypes.
The second reason is that internet is filled with hypes. There
are thousands of companies and marketers, who want only your
money. They don’t care about you and usually don’t deliver what
they promised. When somebody tries to learn from them, he ends
up with an exhausted credit card and a belief that “There is no
money in Internet Marketing”
So the real question is what you should do to get succeed. In
one line “Learn everything from a reliable source and implement
that strategies in your business.
There is a shocking fact “successful internet marketers don’t
try to sale anything to anybody”.
“What, how will they earn money if they don’t sale” you may ask.
Well first they gain trust of people and than simply recommend
some product. The best way to gain trust is give them some
valuable gift. It may be a mini-course, a short report or some
kind of software. You too can do it.
>> I don’t have enough knowledge to create a mini-course or
report. >> I don’t have any software to giveaway. >> I am not so
famous why people will trust me. >> I can’t do it because I am
too young or too old. >> I missed the right time to enter in
Internet marketing.
You may sound like this but there is always a way around
what-ever the excuse is. When these famous marketers started,
nobody knows them. Today we have a marketer who earned millions
in just 19 years of age. So don’t forget “There is always a way.”
So here is a short and simple way to get success:
1. Join list of 5-6 well-known marketers.
The first step is very important. Join mailing list of 5-6
famous marketers and learn what they teach you. If you learn
carefully, you’ll come to know that things are always same, the
only difference is way of presentation. When you join some
e-courses from famous marketers, you’ll have enough data to
compile your own course. I’m not saying that you just copy their
course. Grab an Idea from their course and make yours.
2. Search for free software you can giveaway.
You can find thousands of software, ebooks for free online. Just
get a few good software or ebooks to offer as incentives to
people.
